Executive chef Andy Pearson has worked in catering for over 20 years.
Starting his career being front of house at the Marriott hotel, having then moved to Cape Town he learnt his trade in the exclusive
5* Cape Royal hotel.
After returning to the UK Andy took over the running of small pub in quiet Somerset village of Bleadon, he had a vision of transforming
the quiet rundown pub into a foodie heaven.
A year later they had gained entry into the Good Food Guide and
won numerous local awards.
After a 10 years at the helm Andy decided it was time to move home and following a quick stop in Hotels in Bangkok & Phuket,
here he learned about his passion for spice and Thai cuisine.
He settled in as Head chef at Penarth Yacht Club again completely
transforming the menu of this private members club and
making it the busy restaurant it is today.
We now welcome Executive chef Andy and his Sous chef Michael Large to the newly refurbished Cefn Mably Bar & Rooms and look forward to their knowledge & passion for food shining through on our new menu.
